The Fisher Astronaut Pen

The Fisher Astronaut Pen is a legendary piece of American engineering. It is a rugged, durable space writing pen that can not only withstand the rigors of space travel, but is able to write in zero gravity (as well as upside down and even underwater). Carried on NASA missions since Apollo 7 in 1968, the AG7 is literally the pen that went to the moon. Today, many non-astronauts enjoy the AG7 to help them write in less than optimal conditions. Firemen, EMTs, police officers, construction workers, mechanics and many others put the innovative AG7 to the test every day and have found that there are a million Earth bound uses for the Fisher Astronaut Pen.

Other great Fisher pens

Today there are many models of Fisher pens besides the classic AG7, although it is still as useful today as it was in 1968. Space enthusiasts will love to have the original, of course, and commemorative versions are available. Among the models offered today you will find:

  • Silver ink pens for photographs and scrapbooks
  • "Stow Away" units, slim, 4 inch pens featuring the Fisher technology
  • Small pens that telescope to full size for writing
  • Multiple use units that may include mechanical pencils or touch screen stylus points
  • Carpenter pens with a level, magnetic strip and more
  • Models that employ all of the technology of the Fisher ink cartridge for less than $10!

In addition to the Fisher Pens available for all walks of life, there is also the incredibly powerful Space Beam hand held LED spotlight and Space blade utility knife. Fisher truly makes something for everyone.
